REAL STORIES OF TRANSFORMATION

 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • We’ll talk through your health concerns and what you hope to achieve. I'll share my approach and an overview of the types of services and treatments I offer. You’ll also have time to ask any questions about the process or my approach. It’s a completely free, no obligations (at all) opportunity for us to chat and for you to feel out if we’re a good fit.

  • Your initial consultation will include a comprehensive health assessment to understand your medical history and current concerns. This helps me create a personalised treatment plan that’s truly tailored to your unique needs.

  • Most clients experience improvements within a week. This varies depending on a their body's cellular metabolism, specific health issues and adherence to the treatment plan.

  • The frequency and number of appointments is entirely specific to your unique health needs and my goal is for you to feel better as quickly as possible. Typically the timings would be as below:

    • Initial Consultation - This first session is usually the longest, often lasting 60 to 90 minutes, where I gather detailed health history and symptoms.

    • Follow-Up Appointments - These are usually shorter, about 30 to 60 minutes, and are used to monitor your progress and adjust treatments accordingly.

    • Frequency - Initially, follow-ups may be scheduled every 2-4 weeks. Once improvements are noted, appointments may be spaced further apart, such as every 2-3 months. Everyone is different so we’ll schedule sessions based on your unique circumstances.

    • Maintenance Visits - For long-term wellness, some patients choose to book in a check-in session a few times a year.

  • Coverage varies depending on your insurance provider. I recommend checking with your insurer to see if naturopathic treatments are included in your plan.

  • I don't believe in locking you into fixed consulting packages or ordering unnecessary tests. You'll only get the tests that are genuinely required, so you’ll get a personalised and straightforward approach to your care.

  • The standard rates for appointments reflect the comprehensive and personalised care you will receive.

    The rates are as follows:

    • Initial Consultation: $280

    • Follow-up Appointments: $220

    • Ongoing Express Appointments for Established Clients: $120

I believe in making our services accessible to everyone and understand that financial situations can vary. To support our community, I offer a limited number of inclusively priced appointments each month. These spots are intended for individuals who may find the standard rates prohibitive and are granted based on individual circumstances.

If you are interested in applying for an inclusively priced appointment slot, mention this in your Discovery Call booking notes and we can discuss this together on the call.

  • My practice offers a range of therapies, including nutritional therapy, herbal medicine, diet and lifestyle modification and 1:1 coaching - all supported by scientific research.

  • While natural therapies are generally well-tolerated, like any treatment, they can cause reactions in some individuals. To minimise the risk of adverse effects, every therapy I recommend is carefully selected based on scientific research and a thorough understanding of its effects and interactions. Your safety and the efficacy of your treatment are my top priorities, I'll work with you closely to manage you symptoms and ensure the treatments we choose are safe and effective for your specific needs.

  • Naturopathy is suited for anyone looking to address health issues through natural and holistic approaches. It's particularly beneficial if you're interested in exploring alternatives to pharmaceutical treatments or if traditional methods haven't fully resolved your health issues.

  • Yes, naturopathic care can complement conventional treatments. I collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure a cohesive approach to your health, enhancing your overall care.

  • Depending on your unique health needs testing could include:

    • Standard Lab Tests. Similar to those used in conventional medicine, such as blood tests, urine tests, and hormone panels to assess a wide range of physiological processes.

    • Functional Testing. This type of testing helps assess how well different body systems are functioning rather than just screening for diseases. Examples include digestive function tests, detoxification profiles, and nutrient status tests.

    • Food Sensitivity and Allergy Tests. To determine if there are any food intolerances or allergies contributing to health issues.

    • Saliva Testing. Often used to measure hormone levels or cortisol for stress and adrenal function.

    • Hair Mineral Analysis. Used to detect the levels of minerals and trace elements in the body, providing insight into nutritional deficits and exposure to toxic metals.

  • Naturopathy differs from conventional medicine in several key ways:

    • Holistic Approach - Naturopathy treats the body as an integrated whole and addresses the root causes of illness rather than just symptoms.

    • Preventative Focus - Naturopaths emphasise prevention and lifestyle interventions to support long-term health.

    • Natural Remedies - Treatments often include natural remedies such as herbs, supplements, and dietary changes, rather than pharmaceutical medications.

    • Patient Empowerment - Naturopathy often involves educating patients to take an active role in their health through lifestyle and dietary choices.

    • Personalised Treatment - Naturopathic treatments are highly personalised, unlike the more standardised treatment protocols often used in conventional medicine.
